Extension FAQ

• Will extensions damage my hair?

With proper installation and maintenance, extensions will not damage your natural hair.

• Am I stuck with one hairstyle?

Not at all!  Different methods of application can be chosen based on the hairstyles you wish to wear.  We can discuss this at your consultation appointment.

• How are the hair extensions applied?

I currently offer four different installation methods.  I can also combine more than one method based on your needs.  We will do a thorough consultation to determine which method will work best for you.

• Can I wash the hair?

Yes! The extensions are high quality human hair and can be washed and styled like your own hair.  I will go over proper washing and styling of your extensions at your installation appointment.

• What maintenance is required?

The specific maintenance will depend on the method of installation as well as your natural hair.  We will go over this in depth at your consultation.

• How long do they last?

The hair itself can last a year or more with proper care.​
